About
About the founder, Tanja Hohenester
Exploring the treasures that Mother Nature has in store for us brought me to green tea. For over 4000 years, this fascinating and versatile plant has accompanied mankind. Thanks to technical progress, new forms of green tea can be developed today.
I travelled the world for a long time and gathered important impressions and insights along the way, which came together in my own company once I had a bright idea.
With tigovit I would like to offer you a green tea extract in capsule form that comes from controlled organic cultivation. Again and again I visit the green tea plantation in China in person to convince myself of the optimal conditions on site. Because nothing is more meaningful than your own experience.
As a female founder, I stand behind the name tigovit with a lot of passion and power. I am supported by a committed and competent team of equally passionate employees. Together, we not only want to offer you high-quality products, but also welcome and support you as part of our community.

Introducing Katja: Yoga Teacher, Musician, and Advocate for Women's Health
Introducing Katja: Yoga Teacher, Musician, and Advocate for Women’s Health
Meet Katja, a multifaceted individual whose journey through life is as diverse as it is inspiring. As a passionate yoga teacher, Katja finds joy and fulfillment in guiding others through the practice of yoga, often against the breathtaking backdrop of Florida’s sun-drenched beaches. But her passions extend far beyond the yoga mat. You might find Katja serenading audiences with her guitar and captivating them with her soulful voice at local venues.
However, Katja’s journey took a profound turn when she encountered her own battle with uterine fibroids. Struggling with pain and bleeding since her early thirties, she embarked on what she calls her “Conscious Fibroid Journey.” In 2015, after undergoing a uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), Katja realized the lack of support and resources available at that time to women facing similar challenges.
She founded a Fibroid support group in her native Germany and USA providing invaluable information and support to women in need. It was during this journey that Katja discovered the transformative power of tigovit green tea complex. Katja made it her mission to introduce tigovit to women in the US. She became the US contact for tigogreen, advocating their products and educating about the potential of green tea extract in addressing health issues.
